It seems to me that matters such as this could be handled by pm's. If you have questions about someones identity, then do it privately, not on the board where it causes someone to feel humiliated and hurt. Especially if you're not 100% sure of what you're talking about. Is it enough to turn around and say " I'm sorry"? Does that make it alright? Kind of like kicking someone in the stomach for no reason, then trying to make it right. Point is, you shouldn't have kicked them in the first place. This is not the first time I've seen someone called out because a person thinks they have the goods on them. It reminds me of bullying the new kid on the playground, just because you can..

I have to say I am confused once again. I recognize lots of names on lit now that I have been around for a little while but there are only a few folks i correspond with regularly. It seems that many of the threads on the board are he said she said who are you how could you whats wrong with this one or that one type things. It is my disfunction that I read them. It is obvious that there are malicious people around this place(no I am not saying anyone who has posted here is one). I am referring the rude and nasty folks who overtly try to hurt others. I came to understand that caution was the first rule here. I come on, review the boards, write what I want, pm my few friends and leave. I do this without any impulse or need to hard anyone. If some people are using more than one name I see no harm in that. The only possible harm comes from the probable increase in the level of distrust around the boards. My question to myself is, do i really care if someone is using more than one persona? The answer I get is no. If someone is not who they say they are they are unlikely to become a friend of mine. They are not seeking a friend. Even if they did become a friend at some point I would discover the truth. It might be hurtful then. I would have some responsibility for that outcome though and I think what I need to do is to remember that I come here for the pleasure of it. I don't come for the wars.

In this case, I wouldn't be a bully pushing the new kid, because this wouldn't be a newbie. This would be someone who's been here for years. And if you don't know what's going on, then you've been duped as much as I have. I've provided what I've been given to lots of people. But I don't trust you as far as I can throw you.

My input was only that things of this nature should be handled privately. I don't understand the need for it to be aired here on the board. And as for you not trusting me?? I could care less. I have seen you attack Cat with information you thought to be true, only to find out later it wasn't. This is an open forum, and as such, I am entitled to my opinion, just as much as you are.
If you have a problem with me personally, then please, feel free to let me know. Just be mature enough to do it in private.. or not..

Never once said I hated you Myst. I have a great admiration for your talent and enjoy most, if not all ,of your posts. I feel your excitment when you post about you and Juspar getting together again. I simply disagreed with this one. That's all. But there must be some reason you would come out and say you don't trust me as far as you can throw me. As far as I know, you and I have not had any problems here. Maybe you could enlighten me??
