Jonesey

No, I don't think Jonesey would mind.

In fact I think Jonesey is sitting up in his field looking down and smiling that cat smile of his as he watches you love another. Cats are like that, they aren't jealous.

Cat

:rose::rose::rose:

Ours chose us... rather, he chose the wife because she didn't like cats. At a few weeks old he struggled away from the rest and challenged her when a friend insisted the wife should see the kittens. He was orphaned at birth and being raised by an 'aunt' cat who'd decided she could just about manage to wean two lots of kittens. Capella came to us at about 12 weeks, he was small and wasn't getting enough food. He was supposed to a present for our daughter but quickly decided the wife was the one he owned. Been that way ever since. He's lazy, doesn't wash because no one showed him how, loves kids and goes out to meet them morning and evening as they trudge past to the infant school at the end of the road. Kids can tickle him, pull him about, roll him over but as soon as an adult hand reaches down, the claws swing. He's slightly more docile now and has almost stopped ambushing me when I leave the house - leaping from bushes to cling on at knee level - and he's grown out of the habit of bring frogs in to play. His weirdest trait is refusing to eat alone. He won't touch his food unless someone is in the kitchen with him.

I can't really imagine how you feel, Sarahh... I just know it will be a huge wrench when Capella is no longer around.:rose:

Don't think about it now, there's no need.

You can't prepare, anyway. Just enjoy and love him like you are already doing.

Cats are such unusual fun.

Pixie's a sweet cat, sarahh. *HUGS*

Thanks, Rob.

She is certainly settling in.

Once she gets to her full size (right now she's about 6 pounds and is beginning to face down our biggest at 24 pounds - Chewie, of course) no one will be able to stand up to her.

Of course, full size for her is going to be around 7 pounds, we think - laughing.

:)
