Good morning everyone. Only one class today and I'm in fairly good shape with my homework so far. I may actually be a touch ahead on things I need to do. Maybe y'all were right and I'm starting to figure this out already. Of course, we all know that because I'm feeling that way now, something will reach out and kick my butt today

That didn't take long!! I have a 15 minute class presentation to do in my Art History class. Late last night I wrote my proposal out to my prof, and I just received her answer, and she shot me down!! I understand where she's going and this will probably open up a line of communication between us that will be fun & interesting, but geez.....shooting me down so early into the class? I was heart broken!!

But, only for a moment!! She's actually the Chair of the Art department, so I didn't expect her to let me get off easily. I do love a challenge!!!

We have come to a conclusion and I'm ok with where we ended up. I'm going to doing a piece on the Conceptual Art Movement and trying to incorporate a photography bent to it. As it turns out, the Getty Museum here in LA has a display going on right now that I may try and go see next week while my daughter is in town.

Like I said, I do love a challenge. Now, let's see what I do with it.

Sometimes there's nothing better than just sitting here with my headphones on, louder than they should be, and forgetting everything around me!! Damn, I love my music sometimes!

John, your music was so loud it kept me awake!

For a bit only. I was so tired I slept before I laid my head down on my pillow. I started a film a second time -I really wanted to watch it- and then, after I fell asleep again, I called it a day.

I think I will do some floating now.

Getty is cool.. went there on a field trip and than back by myself later in life..

I did my floating earlier..smog alert day here and I tend to stay inside so I can breath..

Always told my kids that if I could hear it than it was to loud.. it would earn them a smack to the back of the head and orders to turn it down.. flash forward 30 years or so.. and I was grumping because the car audio guy told me to get any more volume out of my car radio I was going to need an amp.. all I wanted to do was just hear it while driving the truck with the windows down.. son jumped my case over the volume..lol.

With all the Quarterback issues it shouldn't surprise me that the Buffalo Bills are getting creamed right now, but geez, every year it gets tougher to be a fan!! They may never make the playoffs again.

Hi all. Finally was able to go for a walk this evening....it's still about 100 degrees even though it was 9:30pm.
I think I may jump into the pool and cool off.
