Hi ladies! Thanks for keeping sunbunny company while I was gone. I just finished my meeting with Adobe. It went well.

Now, I think I'll just sit here for a few minutes. Refresh any drinks that need to be taken care of, and clear the mind. My day is far from over, but I do have a few minutes to decompress.

Yelloow_Rose it's so good to see you. Anything exciting happening with you? The Dutchess and I have just been lounging and shooting the breeze the last few days, and wondered how you were doing.

He was very kind with helping to towel us all dry as soon as we climbed out. And he was very attentive while he applied new sunscreen.

*smile* We meet from all over the world here. Isn't it just marvelous? One klick and I am here. Even better than Scotty beaming me around.

Hi John. I'm glad your meeting went well. I was in my own shower now but sadly, I was fully clothed and in public. Went out to run errands and the sky opened to flooding rain. I stopped to have dinner because I believe my home has lost power.

Of course my first thought was protect my phone and Kindle so I bent forward. Sorry the wet tshirt is not down my front.

I don't need sunblock but I would welcome Munky's help with my flat iron for my hair. He does a beautiful job on his shiny fur.

Four amazing things outside

The serenity and peace I experience while floating on my raft in the quiet of the morning, listening to the birds and the clink of dog leashes while their owners walked by.

The sun peeping out of the cloud cover to blast me in sunshine.

Marveling at how green the grass still is for august with water rationing.. so pretty and luxurious.

The wind through the trees out back as the thunder rolled in the distance.

I am a woman that pleases easily and have always found peace in the world around me. Sometimes the every day things are the most amazing..

We had flooding rain here so I didn't see amazing things as I ran to and from my car.

But I did get to see pure joy on my friend's daughter's face as she spoke of the next step in her life.... going off to college in two weeks. I have known her since she was my brownie scout 12 years ago. I blinked and the kids are all young adults.

Miss Rhapsody. My assignment for the day:
1. Seeing my daughters face light up as we roamed amongst the food trucks. She loves fun things like that!
2. Going to a photographers studio and actually seeing everything that was going on there. I certainly didn't understand it all, but it was amazing, exciting, and a bit scary.
3. Listening to the excitement of a friend of mine as she anticipates a date tomorrow night.
4. Watching the sun set and not having my camera nearby. I appreciated what I was seeing and didn't beat myself up for not shooting it.

Now, as to the revenge. If I remember correctly, someone jumped in the pool yesterday and while giggling hysterically, began tipping people over into the water as they were relaxing, listening to some tunes, and sipping a cocktail or 2. At first I thought it was kind of cute, but as I was looking though my skimmer this morning I noticed a number of little tiny umbrellas floating in there. Such a waste! As sunbunny I believe stated, there very well may be a number of ice water balloons somewhere around here and they just may have your name on them. When you least expect it my dear.......expect it

Needless to say, I am quite perplexed too. Dear, where have you been? Hanging out someplace else? Tss ... You should know where you belong. Here, in John's RRR. Floating on a raft, bouncing on the tramp, and not at a place with filthy people.

Four amazing things I saw yesterday: When shopping I saw a little boy's face shine with pleasure when his mom said he was allowed to choose an ice cream.

Also while shopping I saw a very young couple at the butcher discussing what meat they would select for their first dinner in there new place. That new place was very far in the future, they were around 12, maybe 13 years of age.

I watched my cat trying to catch a few raindrops which were gliding down the windowpane. And I saw her catch a fly. As she often does, also this time she lifted her paw to see if she had catches it. Her wild turning of her head, her lifting her upper body into the air, paws mowing through the air to catch that fly again: Hilarious.

The fourth: more hearing then seeing though: the girls coming home sane and sound from their night out. They still think whispering when they come home doesn't wake me up ...

John, I got my water balloons stacked in the fridge.
