Hi sunbunny. It's shaping up to be a wonderful day again, and we're far enough away from the fires that we don't have to deal with the smoke.

Just heard the weather report for next week, looks like it may be scorching for a few days. I guess I better go stock up on the sunblock and make sure there's plenty of ice and drinks.

Fires? Smoke? That doesn't sound nice at all, even if the smoke isn't bothering you!
We are enjoying some rainy days just now, but in a few days it will be hot again, although not as hot as before. Only 26°C/79°F.

I like the idea you are stocking up on sunblock, ice and drinks. I will need lots of it ...

There's a very large out of control fire about 100 miles away from here, now making it's way into the desert. It's already taken out a few homes and businesses, and was moving very fast. It happens when it's been as dry as it is around here.

It's a nice 83 degrees here right now Dutchess. Come on into the pool and I'll grab you an Iced Tea. All the rafts are available right now, and I don't have much to do either.

*grins* I thought you might like that. Spreadeagled is the position I would like now, that way I can doze off.

Those people losing everything ... I simply have no words for it. Even if the assurance pays, one still is left with nothing. I think it will take quite some time before a re-build house feels like home again.
