Me too!! Good afternoon everyone. I'm keeping myself pretty busy and finding it difficult sometimes to keep up with things, but I miss you guys when I don't at least check in.
Anyway, is is a nice day to be by the pool. I have a bunch of filing things to do with all these pictures I had on my computer, so going to try and deal with all of that on the iPad while watching you ladies relaxing on the rafts. If anyone needs a drink, I'm always willing to take a break.
Waving at John while floating lazily by...yes please John, would love a drink!

It's been pretty quiet around here. Guess I;m not the only one getting busier as the summer wears on. Took some photos today but wasn't really happy with anything I took, maybe they'll look better with some processing.
I did get a nice 11 mile bike ride in before dinner though. Thinking it's time for the jacuzzi now. Drink in hand.

Too bad you weren't content with the pictures you took, I would have liked to see some.
Sun is shining again, is a bit overcast though, and the temperature won't rise above 25°C!

Sunbunny & Dutchy, good morning to you both.
I have a final meeting with my college counselor today (I hope). With any luck everything is in place and I just have to wait for classes to begin in just over 2 weeks. As the time nears, I begin wondering if going back to school at 54 is such a good idea. Career change, & a new direction wasn't part of the plan long ago. byway, I'm remain confident & excited. Just tend ot let my thought s & concerns get in the way sometimes.
I am hoping to get in some more exercise later in the day and that pool looks good already this morning, so don't be surprised if I come up missing, just look near the deep end and Im sure you'll find me, drink in hand, over thinking things once again.

I feel a bit daring today, think I will float around without the raft. Which means I won't be able to hold a drink, so I will float in your neighborhood, to sip from your glass once in a while, okay?
That might help you to stop you from over-thinking things, which is something else as thinking over things, in my book.

Hey Munky, thanks for stopping by. It's terribly early to tell. I would like to think I could make it a new vocation. I have a lot to learn. Can we revisit this question later? 
There are days at this point where I think the camera phone is where I should stay, but I really enjoy trying to put something together that can be intriguing, inspiring, or at the very least interesting.

Ok, as some of you know, when I get a chance, I start wandering about with very little direction, camera in hand. Today after meeting with my counselor, I wandered through the hills, and as I was getting back into my car, I decided to experiment a bit on a set of train tracks. Of course, while sitting in the middle of the tracks, I hear a train coming up behind me...I scrambled to my feet and quickly took a couple of shots. I was never in danger or anything, but I thought it was funny. I did get one where you can see the conductor in the window and we actually waved at each other, but I didn't like that one as much as this one.
