Thanks Dutchy, they aren't world class by any means, but I''m hoping to get a critique sometime down the road from someone who does shoot some amazing pictures. It should be interesting. These were really just an attempt to see if I could get them to post correctly.

It's supposed to be warm here today as well, although it's actually chilly this morning.

I'm hoping Yellow_Rose has a great vacation, even if it didn't start as expected, and the Munky boy is doing well, so all is good in Lit. land.

Really pleased that Mariano Rivera was recognized at the All Star game tonight. He's been a class act & is going out on his terms.

It's been another busy day on my end. Think I'm jacuzzi bound once the ball game is over. Now to figure out what to drink.

I am not a great light when it comes to taking pictures. Snap-shots are what I manage to do.

But I think the one with the reflexes in the door would be more ... of an impact (?) if more was cut out. Or if it would have been taken from farther away, and then cut out.
I do like it now too though.

What kind of pictures are you looking forward to take?

Did you figure out what to drink while relaxing in the jacuzzi?

Nice first attempts. Composition is tricky. Think thirds, lines and swirls and color. I think it would have shot closer and used the cool colors as a back drop. Nice thing about digital...you can just delete. I can promise you I would have taken at least 15 shots from different angles and different places. Smooch...tell me if this is getting in your personal artistic bubble and you want me to back the f up. Lol

Good morning everyone. As some know, Im a huge golf fan. This week is the British Open so I'll be following that closely over the next 4 days. It's a big one and I love the courses over in the UK.

Besides that, I've already finished a short bike ride this morning, wish I had my camera bag on my shoulder, but I don't like stopping when riding. The morning sun & shadows were spectacular though. I do hope to get out later this afternoon and look for something to shoot though.
