John's Rustic Romper Room

Got a phone call from a friend this morning who had been having a rough week. She was able to take some "me" time this morning and was feeling so much better. I'm happy for her, just wish I could have been a participant. :devil:

Half way through the day and have only seen men in the shop so far. Selling porn isn't nearly as fun as it used to be.;)

Sunday morning and no real plans. I kind of like it that way!

I got some wonderful news the other day and will hopefully be taking some classes in the fall. I had applied to the VA for some retraining program, and even at the ripe old age of 53, they decided I was worth it! I'm very excited! I hope to get over to the local college campus tomorrow morning and chat with the Vet Benefits Advisor and hopefully get the last steps out of the way before classes begin. As a result, I will probably spend this afternoon researching the classes available, and try to be as prepared as possible for tomorrows meeting.

There may also be some pool time and as soon as this is posted, I'm heading out for a bike ride. It doesn't seem to be bothering the heel too much.

Munky, I'm so proud of what you've done to this point and your frame of mind, generally, sounds great. I'm thinking you may have gotten past the toughest part and pray daily that tomorrow will be better than today!!

Yellow_Rose, I'm so excited about your upcoming adventure and hope it's all you wish for.

Rhapsody, the program I've been approved for is a photography program! Maybe one day, I'll get somewhere near to posting things like you have, which have been mind blowing to me.

That is great news, John! Classes in fall and your heel feeling better as well!

I hope you are able to manage those last steps you mentioned.

Maybe you should start a picture thread here as well. Or you could post them here in the Romper Room. I really would like to see some of your photographs.
 
I may start posting a few here, but I'm not very good at this point.

I've been busy all morning, but about to embark on an afternoon of edging. Hope it goes well :)
 
Okay, go down to
1.Manage attachments.
2. click and it says upload from computer.
3. click browes and find your image.
4. if it is a giant file, it will be to large so you may have to reduce it.
5. upload and post.
