Joe Biden Embarrassing Our Country Abroad

Reichguide always whines the loudest when it's something that might call one of Trump's great embarrassments back into the news. In this case it's one of his biggest ones: the University of Pennsylvania. Trump literally paid someone else to take his SATs to get admitted there, and one of his professors called him the worst student he ever had. Little wonder, then, that Reichguide would rather people associate it with a lie Biden ostensibly told.

Irony of ironies Trumps trade war may have worked out in our favor. Not for the reasons he did it. It wasn't his intention but I think that might long term end up a net win for all the pain it caused short term.
IIRC when trump placed the sanctions against China, he found the only economist in the world who thought it was a good idea and went with that guy.

Iran reaps billions in payments by kidnapping Americans, Westerners: report

Critics say the billions paid to Iran in hostage payments has led to the funding of terrorism

The Islamic Republic of Iran has generated a massive windfall of up to $15.7 billion for illegally seizing American hostages as part of a ruthless hostage policy that has been fine-tuned since its 1979 revolution, according to new a think tank report.

The publication of the report by the Middle East Media Research Institute (MEMRI) coincides with the Biden administration’s Monday announcement that it released at least $6 billion in sanctions relief to the theocratic state as part of a prisoner swap.

The U.S.-based MEMRI report cited an Iranian security official who declared in August, "This exchange operation is in fact one of the most successful and effective negotiation [efforts] ever to happen to the Islamic Republic of Iran. In essence, we released a few Iranian prisoners in exchange for some prisoners whose sentences were about to end, and, on the other hand, we succeeded in releasing billions of dollars of our blocked resources without committing to anything else."

Fox News Digital sent several press queries to the State Department for reaction to the MEMRI report, specifically the $15.7 billion figure said to be the amount of money paid to the Iranian regime by the U.S. government since 1981.

Now they'll use that money to kill more Americans in Syria and elsewhere and maybe use it to pay for that airfield they're building 12 miles from the Israeli border. Joe Biden's interests are always in some other Capitol than our own.

U.S. officials with dementia may pose national security threat, Pentagon-funded study finds

The report states that "an increasing number of cleared personnel-that is, personnel who hold or have held security clearances-have or will have dementia."

Current and former U.S. officials with dementia may pose a national security threat, according to a Pentagon-funded study that is bringing more scrutiny to aging politicians for recent apparent lapses in cognitive abilities.

Because people are living and working longer, "the workforce might experience a higher prevalence of dementia than in past generations," the study, published by the RAND Corporation's National Security Research Division earlier this year, states.

"Taken together, we believe that an increasing number of cleared personnel – that is, personnel who hold or have held security clearances – have or will have dementia."

Senate Minority Leader Mitch McConnell, R-Ky., who has access to more classified information than most other members of Congress due to his leadership position, recently had two brief on-camera "freeze-ups," where he stopped talking and stared blankly forward for less than a minute.

Looks like the War Party knives are out for Joe, Nancy, Diane, and Mitch.

It was their money.

One of my all-time favorite clips of this dumbass.
The RW media windup to this was that he was going to again, finally, certainly, hopefully appear 'presidential' on the world stage and you can tell that this yahoo bought into the hype himself.
For added fun, look up the reaction of the German delegation afterwards.

WATCH: Joe Biden's Senior Moment of the Week (Vol. 61)

Old man fights losing battle against audio contraption

President Joe Biden survived another week, but not without suffering a series of flubs and miscues. He almost knocked over the Brazilian flag during a conference at the United Nations. He fought a sad and ultimately losing battle against an audio contraption designed to facilitate language translation.

On a related note, anyone who has ever listened to Biden, 80, attempt to speak in English probably could've used a translator to help decipher what the hell he was talking about. For example, he asked world leaders to cooperate on "accelerating the climate crisis." (He meant the opposite of that.) He used the word "bipartisan" as a noun. He said the word "partners" way too many times in rapid succession.

Biden bragged to world leaders about his administration's efforts to "ngsvleihzsalz" American institutions and "cleep" something to do with clean energy. He also praised the Congressional Black Caucus for all the important work its members have done to promote social justice. Which would have been a perfectly fine thing to say except he was speaking to the Congressional Hispanic Caucus.

Joe Biden is a dangerously fucked up mess.
