Jewish Genius, by Charles Murray, Commentary, April 2, 2007

I have never said "blacks are inferior." That begs the question of what I would mean by "inferior." Blacks excel in certain sports. There may be a few Negroes with less basketball talent than I have. They were never in my gym classes in high school.

I do believe that Negroes tend to be less intelligent than whites and Orientals, and that they have higher rates of crime and illegitimacy. To substantiate those assertions I have posted the most recent data I could find. I will change my mind, ll74, when yu post more recent data from credible sources that I am mistaken about any of these three assertions.

Until you do, ll74, you mock yourself by doubting what is commonly known to be true.
Sure you have. You say it all the time. Else what are you saying with all your shitty data? Does intelligence make someone better or worse? Does criminal behavior mean something? Are these desireable traits? And what does it mean when someone scores better than someone else on a test?

You're saying precisely that and you want others to agree with you.

Gould withholds from his readers that The Bell Curve is mainly an empirical work about the causes of social stratification and that it reached its conclusions only after fully analyzing a 12-year longitudinal study of 12,486 youths (3,022 of whom were African American) which showed that most 17-year-olds with high IQs (Blacks as well as Whites) went on to occupational success by their late 20s and early 30s whereas many of those with low IQs (both Black and White) went on to welfare dependency. The average IQ for African Americans was found to be lower than those for Latino, White, Asian, and Jewish Americans (85, 89, 103, 106, and 115, respectively, pp. 273-278). Failure to mention these data fosters the false belief that IQ tests are not predictive and are biased in favor of North Europeans.
