I think some people have to be above the common man. Elected officials, teachers, and religious leaders are by definition supposed to be role models. I think the position is a choice they have made and they know the obligations that go with it. Just because many others in history have fallen does not license anyone in one of these positions to stoop to this kind of horseshit. There are many men (and especially today, women) who do uphold high moral standards. For us to accept less from others is degrading to them.

I agree with you that their private lives are none of our business but then, they have an obligation to make sure they don't compromise it such that it becomes public that thumb their noses at us.

Sob!!! Does that mean this teacher should dejectedly and shamefacedly crawl away form Literotica never to return??? Ah, the agony of choosing a position which makes me a bloody role model. Sigh.

Do you think that in America we have a secret love of having our preachers fall. We always forgive them, but love to see the tarnish, so we now for sure that they are just like we are.

No Crazy, I sure don't think that. There is nothing illegal or immoral about your being here and we would miss you way too much. Besides, I am sure you don't allow any of those pubescent students that lust after you to get to first base.
