jelly? man, fuck you.

Before anyone asks, jelly is gelled fruit juice, whilst jam has seeds or chunks.

bitches, please. at least it's blackberry.

and the whole wheat biscuits aren't as bad as i'd thought they'd be.

Yust when I learn to say yam, you go and change it to yelly.

I thought "preserves" meant anything you canned or jarred to preserve, like peaches and tomato sauce and whatnot.

No idea about spreads. I'll let Blob field this one.

The only kind of spreading I know about is... the fruit kind. Hm.

I am torn between raspberry and boysenberry as my favorite, though blackberry will do in a pinch.

all are good. one day i will find mulberry and the set will be complete.

well, maybe. i have no idea if mulberries are any good at all. i have a tree, but i've never dared because i won't eat the ones that fall and the ones that don't are too fucking high to reach. it's like the myth of tantalus except i don't really care all that much and i'm in michigan instead of hell.

Mulberries are delicious. There used to be a short bush near where I lived as a teenager. I'd walk down every day in the summer and eat and eat. They only lasted a little while before the birds got to them and left purple shits everywhere.

I don't think we have mulberries in Idaho. We have huckleberries, though. Tasty little suckers.

they're like long blackberries that, as blob said, tend to get eaten by birds and then excreted on cars and people and pretty much everything else leaving nice, disgusting stains.

Try one, when you get a chance. There's a stem in the center that you have to eat around, so they're kind of a pain in the ass, but they're the sweetest berries I've ever tasted, wild or otherwise.
