Japan's New Prime Minister

An openly fascist Hitler-supporting politician appears in Japan and the forum’s MAGA sheep enthusiastically support her.

Chloe, Rebel, Glam and Buffalo sometimes pretend they aren’t fascist, but the cat is truly out of the bag. 👍

Oh, major😔..... there ya are, again "fascist.... fascist.....fascist" ..... you have absolutely no idea what fascism truly is🤔
Welp, to pour salt in your wounded, clouded perspective/ego.... I would consider it an honor to receive a sound pegging from the new prime Minister of Japan 🥰... hope this helps you feel better 🤗

Before the MAGA idiots flood the thread with their nonsense, here are my thoughts on the matter.
I am nowhere near as conservative as the majority here. I agree that the sins of the past are the sins of the past, but they must never be forgotten.
It is the duty of the perpetrators and their descendants to ensure that these sins are never forgotten.
It is the right of the victims and their descendants to forgive. No one can or should force them to forgive.

Oh, shoot, the MAGAs started already.
I'm really looking forward, how the US of the future will handle the MAGA sins of today.

Interesting take. Can you give us list of our “sins?” Inquiring minds want to know…

I admit a asked Google this time because I don't want to forget an important one.
Let's start with these?
The initial actions and proposals of the second Trump administration focused on a sweeping re-evaluation and termination of numerous foreign aid programmes, alongside proposed domestic cuts.
International Programmes (Suspended/Terminated/Proposed for Severe Reduction):
* Vast Majority of US Agency for International Development (USAID) Programmes: The administration froze nearly all foreign aid for a review, and subsequently announced the termination of approximately 83% of USAID programmes, effectively dismantling the agency.
* Consequence: Millions of people in developing countries will lose access to basic healthcare, education, clean water, and disaster relief, potentially leading to millions of excess deaths.
* Global Health Initiatives (excluding PEPFAR): Significant proposed cuts, including a 62% reduction to global health funding beyond family planning, and termination of many maternal and child health (MCH) projects (86% cut).
* Consequence: Increased suffering and mortality from diseases such as tuberculosis, malaria, and acute risks of maternal and child mortality in poor countries.
* International Food Aid (P.L. 480 Title II): The FY2026 budget proposal sought to eliminate all funding for this major in-kind international food aid programme.
* Consequence: Vulnerable populations facing conflict and drought will suffer from increased food insecurity and famine risk, while US farmers and shippers, who benefit domestically, lose subsidies.
* Contributions to Multilateral Development Banks (MDBs): Proposed cuts included eliminating contributions to the African Development Fund and significant reductions to others like the International Development Association (IDA).
* Consequence: Developing countries will face reduced financing for critical infrastructure, poverty reduction, and development projects, potentially increasing geopolitical reliance on other powers.
* Global Environment Facility and Climate Investment Funds: Proposed elimination of contributions to both the Global Environment Facility and the Clean Technology Fund.
* Consequence: International efforts to combat climate change, protect natural resources, and support sustainable energy projects in developing nations will suffer a major funding shortfall.
* Funding to Certain United Nations Organisations: The administration initiated the withdrawal of the US from the World Health Organization (WHO) and is reviewing/cutting support for other UN organisations.
* Consequence: The UN system's capacity to address global challenges, from health crises to humanitarian emergencies, will be severely degraded due to the loss of a major financial contributor.
Domestic Programmes (Proposed Cuts/Actions):
* Federal Small Business Grants: Funding for these grants was halted, disproportionately affecting minority- and women-owned businesses that depend on them.
* Consequence: Growth and economic stability for minority- and women-owned businesses in the US are hampered, leading to increased economic inequality.
* Sanctuary City Funding: Proposed cuts to federal funding for 'sanctuary cities' and organisations assisting undocumented immigrants.
* Consequence: Undocumented immigrants and the local communities that support them face a loss of municipal services and assistance.

Should I continue with the fact that he refuses to force his buddy Putin to leave Ukraine alone and keep quiet? That he refuses to actively support Taiwan against the Chinese aggressors? That he has not yet forced his drinking buddy Bibi to stop his war of annihilation and instead plans golf resorts in Gaza?
When I think about it further, I feel like vomiting, which I don't want to do, as I've just had a good meal.

I am not sure if nukes are a good idea. I would like for Japan to sign a defensive alliance with Taiwan. I like her stance on immigration. In the United States we are often told that we need to import young people to care for our old people. Japan has always been restrictive on immigration. Japan has one of the highest life expectancy on earth. In Japan old people are well cared for.

I'm not at all an advocate of nuclear proliferation but Japan finds itself sandwiched between China and little rocket man, they are not resting easy. Which is to say, "I don't want to see it but can't blame them if they do."

Japan is restricted from making or acquiring nuclear weapons for military purposes (war). This restriction is backed by international treaties and its own morality that is also backed by Japanese edicts and policy.
There's a very good reason for this - maybe one of you could do some research and inform the board as to why.

Japan also is a slowly dying country. The high life expectancy is matched by a slow birth rate. I know many horny men here would like for the country's unique genetics to remain the same but, unless the Japanese can think of another solution, the influx of foreign immigrants and their sperm/ovaries are needed if the country intends to survive.

Jesus but you are one slow SOB.

On page 41 of A Farwell to Alms by Gregory Clark there is a diagram that shows that from 1347 to 1450 the wages for English laborers and building laborers doubled. The reason was neither a strong labor movement nor a technological advance. The reason was bubonic plague. It killed nearly half of the English population.

With fewer people competing for jobs, wages rose. With fewer people buying stuff, prices declined.
As the standard of living for English laborers rose, more of them got married. They got married when they were younger. They had more kids. But it did not last. When the population rose, wages declined. Prices rose. By 1600 real wages for English laborers were where they were in 1347.
This is what Professor Clark calls “the Malthusian Trap.” When the population of a group of people rises, the standard of living declines.

A declining population in a country means that there is more of everything good to go around. The same is true in reverse.

Fuck you and fuck professor clark as well if the premise of the working class living a sustainable life is reliant upon mass extinctions.

Sanae Takaichi Elected LDP Leader, Set to Become Japan's First Female Prime Minister

Japan's new female Prime Minister is a hardcore nationalist Her plan is to put a stop to immigration and deport all illegals in her country. She also supports re-arming the Japanese military for offensive purposes, acquiring nukes, further restricting immigration, and wrote a blog admiring Hitler. She opposes same-sex marriage, she opposes gender equality because it will destroy the social structure of Japan. She supports imprisonment for citizens or foreigners who deface the Japanese flag. She's anti-CCP and she believes in rebuilding the Japanese military.

Former Prime Minister Kishida supposedly compared her to the Taliban because she has extreme views.

Her background: Daughter of a Toyota factory worker and police officer, she paid her university tuition through part-time jobs.

Congrats to the people of Japan

Here she is when she was younger - she rode a Kawasaki. She was also a drummer in a rock band. All she needs is a rifle to be perfect.....

I do not consider language like that to be a rational rebuttal. It is an emotional outburst by someone who is unable to think rationally.

Working class people benefit from strong labor unions, a high minimum wage, and a well financed public sector of the economy paid for by high taxes on rich people and corporations. I am in favor of all of that.

You may want to learn about 'money creation'. Let aunty Google explain it to you, or ask uncle Wikipedia.
I'm somewhat tired of explaining economy to morons.

It's common knowledge that the Japanese birth rate has been going down for decades. Some 30% of them are over 65 now and the birth rate is about 1.1 or 1.2, maybe.

Sure, they take care of their elderly; shame on us for not doing so. :(:rose:

Given their economy, cost factors, and other factors, the population rate is unlikely to increase anytime soon to offset the decline. Logical conclusion is that they will run out of enough young workers to support the elderly.

Not just nuclear weapons to consider, but also addressing the living conditions and repopulating the islands will be vital.

Diversity is over rated. I do not want Japan to be repopulated by people who do not live up to Japanese standards of behavior and performance.
