Japan's New Prime Minister

You may want to learn about 'money creation'. Let aunty Google explain it to you, or ask uncle Wikipedia.
I'm somewhat tired of explaining economy to morons.
I know about money creation, the bond market, carry trade, dollar swaps, sub-prime lending, derivatives, fiat money, and whom buys our debt.....oh and how interest destroys ....
There's one simple rule...... don't spend money you don't have on shit you don't need...
The best example are student loans for jackass colleges and/or jackass degrees....
Here's a few examples of poor life choices..... tattoos, tobacco products, soda pop, subscriptions to nearly anything, football/basketball/baseball ect..tickets,(fucking waste of time).... now my all time favorite.... bottled water (fuck me to tears).... Starbucks coffee, I've over heard people at the ck out counter sniveling about the price of gasoline while they/them are purchasing 5 bottles of water at buck quarter a 16 oz bottle
No one is buying our debt... no one, nearly all our debt is being monetized by the buyer of last resort.......
Aaaaaand.... let's not forget the CME, the commodities market or I should say the casino market that daisy chains the price of commodities to unaffordable levels...... ie market manipulation utilizing contracts on phantom commodities...

You are right with most of these points, but they have nothing to do with the point of the discussion.
Let me just add that student loans shouldn't be necessary at all. People with university degrees have higher income on average. Therefore they should pay higher taxes. At the end of the day the state benefits from people having a university degree. So, why pay for it?

Of course, the Communist way.............punish societies producers.

Diversity is over rated. I do not want Japan to be repopulated by people who do not live up to Japanese standards of behavior and performance.
Standards are wonderful. Homogeneity certainly implies acceptance of standards, perhaps.

As US citizens, we have standards. We don't always live up to them. I don't think diversity is the cause for not adhering to good behaviors and our performance, say, economically. We definitely could do better. But that's a topic in and of itself for another thread, perhaps.

You say 'repopulated,' but it doesn't address the declining population of Japanese citizens. The high economics and living standards are the primary causes of low reproduction; young folks don't want the financial strains of having babies to raise. What happens when the birth rate is no longer able to sustain The Land of the Rising Sun?

What happens, John, when they must face that reality?

All I see is a MAGAt.

😑

Regardless of race or nationality, all MAGAts have that same evil (sociopathic / psychopathic) countenance - and she also has the Ghislaine Maxwell hairstyle, so I can see why a MAGAt like Chloe would find her appealing

Of course, every country has to “fight MAGAt with MAGAt” in the era of DonOld Trump aka Jeffrey Epstein’s bast friend, so

😑

We. Told. Them. So.

Americans [not all of us] feel that a good education isn't a necessity. The mentality is one that was held over from the age when a high school education was enough to secure a livable job. Beyond that, education was considered something you paid for on your own. The mentality here is 'Why pay for someone else's education?'

You, on the other hand, come from a land and culture that values and recognizes the benefits of higher education, hence the 'why not pay for it out of government financing' response. That doesn't even begin to register with the larger population in the USofA, ironically.

Sometimes, Americans are a bit daft about learnin', readin', and 'rithmatic. It's a MAGA trait. ;)

The reality is that fewer people mean that there is more of everything good to go around.

Before the MAGA idiots flood the thread with their nonsense, here are my thoughts on the matter.
I am nowhere near as conservative as the majority here. I agree that the sins of the past are the sins of the past, but they must never be forgotten.
It is the duty of the perpetrators and their descendants to ensure that these sins are never forgotten.
It is the right of the victims and their descendants to forgive. No one can or should force them to forgive.

Oh, shoot, the MAGAs started already.
I'm really looking forward, how the US of the future will handle the MAGA sins of today.
It's also the right of the victims to prosecute as well.

Yeah, I remember the daft “educated” crowd squatting in Zuccotti park, defecating, and slumming all over the place because they found out you can’t make $100k right off the bat coming out of their indoctrination center of choice
especially if you’re brewing coffee for a living.

How much is the average Ivy League education setting them back? They weren’t pay’n much attention in that “rithmatic” portion of their book learn’n, were they?

Meanwhile, the HS Grad going to his local JuCo getting an Associates Degree working on HVAC was killing it. But, hey
the OccuPoopers are the “smart” ones
