I am sorry to hear about things going backwards at home. I know things are already hard. I hope having your daughter home from college helps some and is a comfort.

I was at the hospital today having a MRI. I had to lay flat on my back for 90 minutes while they got the images of my left knee. It was so hard to not move a muscle (even my toes) for all that time. I go back to my Dr. on Friday to see what the results are.

Right now it is hard to keep my spirits up, but I am doing my best.

yes indeed we have a special group!! and i am certain we will all get through these tough times, although it may seem like we never will, its been over 4 years now we have been dealing with all this, i keep thinking things will be better, and some days are better than others, but that is true for all of us!! we will have alot of travel time next week be a 4 housr trip on monday and at least 8 hours friday!! i am sure you cant wait to get to your daughters and hold the little one, thats going to be so so special for you!! as always lots of hugs for you!!

thanks Toni!! you are so right as well, each of us might be a little weak but if we all hang in the together we can be so strong that nothing can get us all down!! we had a great time at the fair last night, saw Aaron Tippin out under the stars, he put on a great show!! Glad you had a good time at the fair.

I got a little bit of good news last night. As you know back in May they abolished our jobs and with my injury I have not been able to bid on any other jobs. I am still working the same job, and will until they take the machines out (they are being replaced with some other machine), but then last week they sent us a letter saying that we had a right to retreat back to our old job. But there were only 4 spots. I got one of them. So I will be doing the same thing I have been doing but my days off will be changing. I will now be off on Wed and Thu night instead of Mon and Tues. However, that means that I have to work 7 days straight to my next day off. I know I am going to be beat. I was going to have my x-ray changed to another day, but not able to so Monday night I cannot eat/drink anything at work. And then go directly to have it done and they said that it could take up to 4 hrs, just depending on how long my system takes to get to that point.

Hi you guys. I am sorry that I haven't been around as much as I used to. Right now I have to be focussing on getting a resume done, I had to make three contacts for the week, and had to get a bunch of paperwork done for the claims telecenter so they can get going on getting things started for my unemployment wages (about 1/2 of what I was getting before).

It is so hot here, I can hardly stand it. So hard to think or even try to do anything. I am going to have to get a lot of clothes washed and packed this weekend. Tomorrow I go to the Dr. to get the results of the MRI and Tuesday (the morning before I leave) I have to have some dental work done while I still have benefits.

{{{{{{{{{{{{Toni}}}}}}}}}}}}} I am glad that you have work ahead of you for sure, sorry that you have to work so many days in a row, (you should get a nicer check though), and sorry that you have to starve while at work for that test. I will pray for you to get through it just fine.

We have been in the mid 90's yesterday I think it edged up a bit. We have not officially hit 100 this year. The heat index has but not actual temp. We are supposed to be getting a cool front coming in today and supposed to have chances of rain all weekend. That will be great unless it makes it even more muggy. I bet you can CM dance really good. I used to do that with friends when I was young. Actually, as far as my working 7 days in a row, I won't get paid anymore money. I was off Mon and Tues this week. As a matter of fact, it is even hotter here than I thought. It is in the 90's and for us that is practically unheard of. We are used to a moderate climate. (not too hot, not too cold). The only air conditioning I have is in my car.

I talked to my former boss yesterday and he said he would expedite getting the paperwork in so I could get my unemployment faster. He said he would make sure that the administrator would get a good letter of recommendation to me early next week.

Once you get past your first week of the new schedule, it will be great. I am happy for you getting a secure job.

As a matter of fact, it is even hotter here than I thought. It is in the 90's and for us that is practically unheard of. We are used to a moderate climate. (not too hot, not too cold). The only air conditioning I have is in my car.

I feel for your Mom........my fall a few weeks ago is still hurting my bad knee. (Going to the Dr. today for MRI results). Take good care of her. It is hard to know how long we have with our parents. I know I sure miss mine every day.

I just finished my resume and am going to go to the Job Center to see what they think before I start mass production of sending them out (when I get back from Denver).

I know that the refrigerator can't keep up with me on making ice as fast as I drink the ice water and it is an automatic ice maker!
