The week is whirring by ..........I can't believe it. It is very possible that I may have to go back down there for the 3rd weekend in a row.........I was really lookiing forward to a weekend of rest

Getting ready to head south

I am going to try my hardest to just get it done today even if I have to do all that driving in one day so I can rest tomorrow. I stayed up late after work yesterday getting several loads of laundry done.

I am tired, but my Daddy angel will watch over me on the trip. He was the traveler and I always feel him with me when I am in the car.

I came back early because I made the trip for nothing. The maintenance man that was supposed to do the work for me said he didn't have the stuff I had left with him (the expensive stuff) to get the work done, so I cannot trust a liar and a thief. I picked up a few things, visited a friend for a bit, then turned back and came home.

You might say that my problems have increased

Now I have to find someone else trustworthy to do the job.

I know, ljmo, and I sure appreciate that thought. I got a bid yesterday to do the painting and repair work (not including replacing the carpets) and it was close to $3500.!!! Do they think I am made of money?????

I am crying right now not knowing how I am going to handle all this. My other house owner hasn't even paid rent yet this month.
