My sister's friends, our shared friends, and family were all gathered in a place of love. She touched everyone's life in such a positive way, everyone was so positive with everyone else.

After the reception at the church after the memorial, we went to her favorite "watering hole" and spent several hours with her special friends and shared special stories about her. I can't tell you about how many of her friends came up to me and told me that they were fine with my brother's speeches and then I spoke.
I made them all cry......even the men, who hate to cry in public. They said that they could tell how much I loved her and how sincere it was. I exchanged phone numbers with several of them and plan to see them again. I already knew some of them but just don't want to lose touch with them.

Thanks, ljmo............I hope all is well with you. I think getting past the memorial is a good thing. Next Wednesday I will be leaving for 10 days to see my daughter and especially my grandaughter.

My best friend called yesterday and told me that her grandmother died Thu. Her aunt had been caring for her, but got to where she was unable to handle it anymore so Monday she put her in a hospice home and she said that her grandmother would not eat, drink water or anything and then died on Thu. She was 100, she would have been 101 in Mar! Can you believe that? I just cannot imagine leaving for another 56years. Of course, I would love to spend the next 56 years with AA, but I just cannot even imagine living that long. They were leaving this morning to go to the funeral, it will be Monday. I asked her if there was anything that I could do for them. She told me to just pray for all of them left behind. I told her she knew I would do that, and if you don't mind I would love for you to pray for them also. Thanks sweetie!

For some reason, going through my sister's memorial was the most positive one I have ever been to......Everyone left feeling uplifted rather than sad. She was there still being positive and supportive of all of us, I am sure of it!!
