I have an interview at 2.30 today at Mercedes Benz dealership for an office trainee position.

I really, really, REALLY want this job, so please, keep everything crossed and positive thoughts coming my way guys. I have a roaring cold and had no time to do my roots so I'm panicking already...

 :rose:  You'll do great hon. Drink some nice hot tea and try and stay calm. I'll send you as many vibes as I can

I forgot how good this suit is. I put it on and I feel confident and... yeah. Rawr!

I've been running through potential questions they could ask in my head. The only one I'm wobbling on is "Do you drive?"

I have an answer of: "Not at the moment, but I would like to in the future." If they ask me to expand on that, "I am unable to drive due to medication I am taking at the moment."

I just don't want to shoot myself in the foot with this.

A "best wishes" and positive thoughts from the good little witch.

Positive thoughts on the way!

If I were you, I would be prepared to tell them what medication, for what reason and how long in the future.

I'm really, really glad it didn't come up. I don't want to have to explain my gynelogical problems to the guy who did my interview. He was lovely, but... he's a guy!

Anyway. I have had my first interview, and should hear shortly whether or not I'll progress - my interviewer was honest, he thought I was *over*qualified for the position but I think we reached an understanding about why I want it.

I should also hear if I have an interview with another company either today or tomorrow.

Sending more positive vibes your way.

*Hugs back* Thanks Rob, and everyone, for all the good wishes.

Of course you're over-qualified. You rule!

WOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

:D

Thank heavens things are looking up for you, Darkling. I've had my legs crossed for you so long that I'm dying for a wee!
I suppose I should switch to crossing something much less dangerous and not so potentially embarrassing...like my toes or my eyes. Those seem pretty foolproof...

:rose: Well done, you.

If nothing else, it's one under the belt!
Here's hoping...

I PASSED THE CREDIT CHECK!!

I passed the credit check under the "restricted" band. It means I can't work for banks or collections, but other than that I'm cleared to work in the call centre for the other job I wanted.

So! I have an interview with them tomorrow at 10.30am. Wish me luck my lovelies!

Best of luck to you, JL. Remember, you ARE the best candidate they have for the job. Tell them that. Make sure they know that you know it and believe it yourself. If that is your attitude going in, you are sure to nail the interview. :)
