I did it in secret, on my own, because everybody around me pushed me to continue smoking whenever they knew I was trying to stop.
This way, I just 'passed' on having a smoke whenever I was offered one, till eventually someone realised I simply wasn't having any.
Best way by far.

A hock is the bottom portion of a pig hind leg.
I had it in the smoker for 2 days, and now it is almost to the point where I can take it out of the pot and shred the meat off.
Yes, you eat the meat once it's been stripped off and put back into the soup.

I think you guys use bacon bones more than smoked hock.
