I've Been Thinking of Him Lately

In the last few days, at random times, I have thought about the absence of one of Lit's finest. He is sorely missed around these parts by me and many others.

It's interesting how thoughts of him creep up at the strangest times. When I acted like I have recently, he would always PM me with a supportive word telling me to be myself. He could always make me smile. He had a way of making everyone feel a warmth.

What a treasure.

I wish his family and those who loved him well during this difficult holiday season.

If you are thinking of who I was thinking the same thing about?
It keeps happening to me too. :)
I was going to post a gift for him in the Christmas gift thread I started but decided I wouldn't.
Wherever he is? I hope he is having a fantastic time.
He is missed. :rose:

Are you two talking about the person I thought about earlier today?

If so, his family has been on my mind a lot lately.. :rose:

I'm sure you're talking about the same person I've been thinking of,

What a guy.

I hope things are well for him and his family...

I don't know about all the rest of you, or why a name would be secret when you're saying nice things about him. The one I still miss is Mensa. But probably not anywhere near as much as his family misses him right about now.

And it isn't only Mensa. There are so many posters here who have spoken about losing their parents this past year. A lot of them are facing their first Christmas without a very dear person in their life.

Merry Christmas to all of these posters and their families. The holiday may not be as bright as usual, but hopefully it won't be as painful as imagined.

I am glad someone started this thread.

He has been in my thoughts as well.

I agree.. My children lost a Grandmother and I lost a Mother in law (my ex husbands mom.. but she was still my mother in law) on Friday..

I think this holiday is going to real somber around our house..

Yes, I was thinking of Mensa. lol He would have loved the PM
I would have sent him when I adopted my new pup.
The cats have left the house! :D Preferring to cast snobbish
glances our way when they think we aren't looking. If they think we are looking? They roll their eyes and give us the cold shoulder.
He would have loved me telling me the antics this pup gets up to!

I laugh often as I watch Milo and know Mensa would be grinning too.

Cats drool
Dogs rule.
Just for him.
:rose:

For anyone who has lost someone this year. :rose:
Their memories live on through you.
They aren't forgotten in spirit, only their
bodies passed on.

Send it anyway. :rose:

I still send email to him now and then. I have no idea if he really sees them or not, although I expect that he isn't here to read them. I still feel better for having sent them.
