I've been cleaning again

I've come to the sad realization that I'm the only one who cares about dirt. I'm living in a world of dirt and dust bunnies and no amount of cleaning will rid my world of those two things.

I bought one of those Pledge dry/wet mop things. I marched my butt downstairs to clean the entry hall in a shared townhouse. Who knew that much dirt could hide on a floor. Ick, Yuck. Now...if I were smart I'd realize that neither myself nor my neighbor downstairs has gotten sick walking back and forth across this floor day after day for the last 6 months.

I just need a hug and to be reassured that everything is ok.

Cleaning

It's nice to have a clean house, a very worthwhile effort! Not that I'm Felix Unger or anything, it's just nice to cuddle up and know that everything's nice and clean. Even if the guy next store is a slob, you know you've done good. Gives a person a little peace of mind.

I agree. My issue is that once I start I can't stop, I have to be told to stop or forced to stop. I also take cleaning to a new level. Germs are afraid of me.

I'll bet you have a custom made holster with 409 on one hip and pledge on the other. That's an interesting picture... Sounds like your place must be clean and comfortable.

Actually, I use nothing with anti-bacterial agents in them because by using them I add to the problem of creating "super bugs". Not a good thing for our environment or us.

Soap and water kill anything that might harm me or my loved ones just fine.

Not to mention those of us who are allergic to them and end up with red hands and rashes all over our bodies. Did they think about that? Noooooooooooooooooooooooooooooo!!!

I keep Ivory in the kitchen and in the bathroom I use Cetaphil products exclusively now. My Dr. recommended it after seeing how dry my skin was. Of course not without a lecture about how often I wash. It works great! I think it's worth the cost of the product.

Interestingly, we don't have anything in the house with it. When we brought Thing 1 and Thing 2 home, the doctor told us to get rid of ALL of it, because it would inhibit their ability to start building up their own natural immunities.

Of course, had I known we'd created uberkind, I may have kept a little around as protection!
