It was reported in the local newspaper today that the growers of Blue Agave are burning their fields to grow corn for the Ethenol.

This means a shortage of Tequila, which means the end of the world as we know it. Oh No.

Well I too visited Sam's Club today, as well as a couple of other Booze Stores. (Hey I'm stocking up for Hurricane Season okay? )

I now have a well stocked back room. (Hell I could open a store.)

I have several cases of Tequila as well as four cases of my Fathers Apple Brandy. I also added to my supply of beer. (I now have 20 cases, all in re-usable bottles. Hey sometimes it's safer to drink beer than water.) There are also several cases of various wines for my wife and her friends.

Next week is payday so I'll add more to my supply.

Yes? (I see you sitting back there waving your hand like you need to use the bathroom.) Oh, what about the food in this so called food supply?

Well to answer your question I have roughly six months worth of canned and dried foods in a closet. This does include canned and dried Cat Foods. (Not to mention three hundred pounds of Kitty Litter.) All of these foods have long shelf lives. (We're talking foods like several cases of M.R.E.'s as well as Freeze dried camp foods.)
