Hey!!! It's been months. How's the knee? You probably don't remember me. You're the reason I signed up here. You helped me with my first draft and gave me lots of great writing advice. I'm glad to finally see you again so I can thank you. That story by the way is still on the back burner. I do hope everything is going well for you.

You might want to check out the "Newbie Support" thread for answers to any questions you have, and you can ask there too - someone will come along fairly quickly and answer them for you.

As for your avatar: you have to reach 100 posts to have one, and at 1000 posts you can change the title under your name.

To get an AV (a picture) you need 100 posts.

Then click on Control Panel at the top of the page and then on Edit Options in the page that appears. There is an 'Avatar' field on the Options page. You can upload a picture from your machine to Lit and from then on, you've got a picture nest to your posts.

That particular story I need to curve some developement aspects, but it should be up sometime this year. HA! I'm not sure, but I have a definate perspective of exactly what I want to do. I just need to hone my skills a little bit to take off the rough edge to it. Your tips and suggestions have helped imensely as well as all of the people here. You will not find a better crowd of friends. Don't worry about the 100 posts, I got that in 2 days. Just keep talking to all of the friendly people here, and make sure they pander to your every whim. Once you get a sexy AV up, all the fury barn animals are yours.

Rikaaim glad the suggestions helped, I have to say i've had trouble writing txt stories recently, can't seem to get my thoughts together, audio seems so much easier but I fear its made me lazy - no need to type or read, just sit back and say what comes to mind, actually thats very lazy I really should sit down and write, I have a story in my head I want to get down but you get that feeling sometimes that it just doesn't want to be written?

Aaaanyway, I'll try and sneak up on it unawares and see if that works

I think some stories really don't want to be wrote. Maybe we have a hard time writing them because we really don't want to. Not every idea for a story that comes to mind has to be writen. I think that sometimes we just like the idea and want to be selfish and keep it all to ourselves. Eh, maybe that's just me.
