I've waited. I've been patient. I'm tired of being second choice. It's not good enough. I deserve more. I want more.

Do you hear me destiny?!?!?

Just a little morning temper tantrum...nothing to see here...move along.

The holiday season is hard sometimes...

You may have a lot of years to wait yet. But never give up hope because love happens on its own timeframe. :rose:

I don't think you can find love, it finds you.

The holiday's are very hard, especially if you're all alone. :rose:

Yah, yah...

I'm really ok being single. <--- my mantra :D

I'm so tired of being asked if I'm done christmas shopping. I have nobody to buy for this year and I like to do that and the wrapping part is my favorite. I love picking out pretty paper and bows. I can be such a girl sometimes.

Really? You don't buy gifts for family members?

My family decided not to exchange gifts this year.

Edit. They made the decision and then let me know. That of course is a whole nother ball of wax.

I think I need a shower.

Well PacificBlue . . .I do not have many words of wisdom to offer. I have spent many a Christmas alone, and usually in another country. It can suck. Just keep that chin up and keep going forward. One day, out of the blue it will hit you . . .love that is.

Tell ya what. You can buy gifts for MY family this year, and I can stop trying to figure out how to buy 5 more gifts when I have less than $10 to my name.

We'll all be happy then, right?

I think I detect sarcasm.

You can buy and wrap a present for me, PacificBlue. I love presents.

:)

I sent a bunch of stuff to my best friend today and that made me feel good. I got her gift to me in the mail today.

Nope. I'm entirely too serious. I get to buy gifts for my little sister's boyfriend and my older sister's girlfriend. Plus, my dad's new wife, my dad and my husband.

I checked my balance today. After my mortgage clears, I'll have around $10.

How about gift certificates that you make up on your computer, with cool fonts, graphics, etc., for things you could do for them throughout the year? Cost of paper and time.

Sounds like you can't "buy" them anything, but you can still "give" them gifts. What about the gift of your time? Give certificates good for house cleaning, grocery shopping, baby sitting, car washing, home cooked meal, baked goods, etc.

For hubby, certificates good for his favorite activities with you as well as "get out of jail free" cards for him to use in the future when he screws up and you're mad at him for something. :)

IOU's for soon to be issued movies or new CD's would buy you time, too.

Some of my favorite gifts over the years were things that never came from a store.

:D Hey, I was doing two things at once and you typed faster than I did. :p

It's my turn to be in love

Are you sure? I was hoping I'd be next. *looks at number on ticket in hand, looks at "Now Serving ______" sign to see what number is being called next*

Those ideas will work for the dad and the wife of the dad, because they're local. I'm still working on the out of towners.

The get out of jail free cards made me laugh.

:) Maybe they would make him laugh, too?

The out of towners may take a bit more thought, but there has to be something that doesn't cost a fortune.
