Lets get the Christmas cheer going! I got the snow here, and this is where we post pics of your decorations, your neighbors decorations, cookie recipies, whatever! just spread some Christmas cheer to one another!

starting off, some decorations i made. not quite completed due to a hand injury. just missing some hinges to join them together.

Those are so cute! Thank you, so much Batter for coming back with this thread. I think we really need it around here. I will have to give some thought, as to what I can contribute. It's nice to have a little holiday spirit around here.

Hugs my friend.:rose:  :)

Thanks for sharing, Sir Batter. I dub thee the "Spirit of Christmas" & hope that you have a very Happy Holiday season.

I love the idea of this thread. :)

Here are some of my favorite decorations...

First, a close-up of my tree. I just finished decorating it a few minutes ago. It's my first 'real' tree.

It's got pink and clear beads, pink and gold ribbons of all sorts, some beautiful 'instruments', pink and ivory poinsettias, and some gold ornaments.

Here's one that shows a cute little snowman mug I got last Xmas sitting in a really cool sleigh. It's sitting on a table runner I quilted. :)

This is my little Charlie Brown-esque Chrismas Tree. I just finished it today. You can imagine the time it took to dress this three foot monster up! My santa topper wouldn't hold still, he seemed to have something prickly up his little santa butt, so he's kinda sideways.

:D I love Christmas.

Oh that's cute. :)

At least your topper shows. I've got a tiny angel on mine. She's barely visible. :p Maybe next year I'll get a bigger one... or a star...

Great pics people!!!

That's the spirit!!

here is a pic of my tree. just finished putting it up too.
i have gotten used to artificial trees, but i still say you cant beat a real one even if they are work to take care of.

Ofcourse.. my digital camera isn't working again.

I do believe the exterior of our house is done.. I'm going out now to take pictures with the 35mm camera.. but it's going to be a few days until I can post pictures.

Freakygurl!

i remember some of your pics from last year.

looking forward to see more of them this year!
gotta show me those big outdoor ones!
Pretty Please!!!!!

Hugs!:rose:

Ok.. I had forgotten that we took some pictures of the work in progress.

The next few pictures are close to being done.. but there is a few things that have been added that aren't in the pictures.

Our house

The inflatable tree and snowman.. and a hint of the large flower garden behind them.. I'm not sure if you can see it or not, but this is where Mr Freaky keeps his glowing balls. :)

frontal few of our house.. notice the wooden sleigh and reindeer on the porch roof... not shown in the picture (because it was added just yesterday) is a life size santa that is hanging from the roof.

This picture is not a very good picture.. but it does show how many lights we have on the roof..

The lights also run down the front of our yard on the chain link fence..

This one was taken while I was in the middle of decorating the tree..

It's nowhere near being done in this picture..

Yes, You can see his glowing ball. See the area between the snowman and the tree? That is a garden gazing ball on a pedastool that was stuffed full of (300) lights..:D

OMG freakygurl! Those lights are amazing. What is your electric bill in December?

And here I was worried about the 125 lights on my Xmas tree... ;)

Lili

freaky, your house is beautiful, wow!!!

iI really like this thread, and when I get back home, I'll make a few contributions.

Lili, very nice...and batter, as I said before in Miss T's thread, your work is outstanding!

freakygirl....have you seen christmas vacation with chevy chase.....your roof seems vaguely familiar....
