Had my cast taken off last Thursday, but am now stuck in a black hard plastic arm brace for the next 6 weeks. Was looking forward to being able to do stuff, but my break was quite complex apparently and my arm got really skinny and weak while my cast was on..... thrice-weekly physio and orders to keep my brace on at all other times (except when showering... which is absolute heaven as I was thoroughly sick of trying to wash my hair one-handed!)

I have also finally managed to reach my weightloss goal..... I am down 30kg since the start of March this year :D Keto is the absolute bomb! I am never going back to eating what I used to think was a 'healthy diet!' I've been doing this under doc and dietician supervision, and all my bloods have come back completely mid-range for the first time in over 10 years. I am no longer peridiabetic, all my hormones have levelled out, and my GGT levels are back down where they should be. Oh, and I have lost a total of 5 clothing sizes! Current weight is 57kg.

Also took my new skinny self off to my first ever swingers party on the weekend, arm brace and all ;)
Somebody tell me why the hell I waited 50 years? Sooooooo much fun! Definitely doing this again!

I was trying that and it was working out well. Until tonight. I just ate a whole tray of roasted potatoes. Not all at once. It took me at least 25 or 30 minutes.

I guess tomorrow is a new day.

Once I got the hang of counting macros, everything fell into place and my weight just flew off!
I have had no issues giving up carbs.... nothing tempts me any more :)

And yes, tomorrow is a new day.

I'm on a low carb eating plan. it works so well.
