About Omnicron? We don't know yet. No one knows yet. It will be several weeks before we have a scientific consensus.

As for the advice - that would kill millions of Americans. The World might think that is a good thing because those who would die are the US idiots, but the relations might be very upset.

The US has already passed the UK death rate per 100,000 people and that figure is growing. 75% of those in hospital for Covid in the UK were NOT vaccinated. That is worrying. They can plead for vaccines now they are sick but it's far too late.

The UK precautions are because we don't really know yet. We had 22 Omicron cases in the UK as of yesterday. Until they are studied we have no idea what Omicron does, what it doesn't do, and how dangerous or not it is.

If the advice from Hopkins was correct, smallpox should have died out naturally. It didn't. It was stopped by vaccination.

the same for Polio. My sister died of polio two years before the vaccines were available in the UK. Polio is mercifully a thing of the past - thanks to vaccination.

It has nothing at all to do with denying your hypotheses or employing fear as a means to control people. It has to do with you jumping to conclusions before you have any data in hand about the statistics on the lethality of both the Delta and Omicron variants, as measured on a societal scale. Don't give me that crap about "emerging facts". You sound like a commercial for "natural remedy" snake oil supplements.

Furthermore, look at the highlighted word in your quote. Virus evolution is purely random. Viruses have no agenda. The virus does not plan for an "opportunity", and there is no known "course of nature" for viruses. If there were, we could have planned for all phases of this pandemic. It's all a roll of the dice. Some mutations may kill the host too quickly to facilitate spread. Others may retain the same level of lethality as Delta, but resist existing vaccines and therapies, thus leading to more deaths and hospitalizations. Every reputable scientist is refraining from judgment on the Omicron variant until they have some data on societal scale potential for lethality and serious illness.

Despite obviously being full of yourself as our resident porn board viral epidemiologist, you have no more knowledge of the next generation of mutations than anyone else. There is always the side that makes constant excuses. It gets tiring.

My personal experience so far:
I have known 6 people that have died from Covid. This includes some older folks and some younger ones, who ended up being vented and induced into a coma. You know, like what you read in the media.

I have a handful of vaccinated friends that have or had Covid. It sucked but not extremely serious.

As far as the flu: I have not yet known anyone personally who has died from it. Of course it happens but I haven’t known anyone.

As far as Omicron. Canada states that they just don’t know enough about the variant yet. It will take a few weeks of data.

I will go back to my original stance, get fucking vaccinated. It might stop the mutations, it might save your life. Maybe you don’t care but there is probably someone out there that does.

And if you are a pussy about vaccines: I have yet to personally know anyone who has had extreme side effects from the “poison jab”. Man up.
