It's been 2+ weeks...

I was just wondering why it may be taking so long for my new stories to show up? I realize I am not the only one waiting...guess I am just a bit impatient!

Can someone tell me how long it takes regularly? I thought my last one took only a few days. I don't think I recieved any feedback making suggestions as to how I should change/improve them! I could be wrong though!

I'm not complaining! Just curious!!

If you click on the pending button to actually look at the story it sends it to the back of the line. It could possibly be a glitch, it's been known to happen. The amount of time it takes for stories to get approved fluctuates quite a bit. They can get approved as quickly as a couple of days or it could take a week or more.

Have you checked your member's submissions page?

You can login and view it here, if you haven't: http://members.literotica.com:81/members/submissions_view.php

If you have, or that doesn't tell you anything, then I guess it will be posted soon. That is a very long time, though. They usually take between three and five days to post, depending on a few things, including whether or not there are contests going on or anything, which there aren't at the mo.

Anyway, check your submissions page and see if it is still pending and how many views it might have had.

When I wrote one which was on the borderline of acceptability, it took much longer and 14 "views". They ultimately rejected. Once, when a contest thing was going on, I waited two weeks. But ordinarily, a fortnight means something has happened, like a rejection or something. Story_index/Login/Submissions/View is the path to the thing, and there you may find your answer.

Thank you everyone for the responses! I had been checking my submissions page, what I didn't realize is, that it would take longer if I went back to make changes to the stories and then re-submitted them. I did go back and look at my copies and found some typos, I made changes and submitted them once more.

That's probably why it has taken a while longer. I checked my submissions page today and one of the stories was rejected and the reason...I made the changes and re-submitted that one...so...maybe soon!

...anyway...thanx again, I appreciate the guidance!
