We did it!

We got a house!

We get to move, and be settled in, just in time for the baby!

AND! It's cheaper payments then we make towards rent now!

AND! Each of the kids gets thier own rooms! Here, we have two kids crammed into a closet-like room. There, the smallest rooms are bigger then the biggest bedroom here!

-hop hop hop-

I am a bit excited, if you couldn't tell. Could you tell?

Congrats, Gilly!!!!

Thats soo exciting! I'm happy for you! :)

Kewl!

I've wanted my own house for some time but I decided helping my kids get one is probably more important. An old bachelor like me can live in a rented duplex just fine, but once they start having kids they'll need a house.

Congrats!!

So happy for you!!

We recently moved into a much bigger house also.
Having extra space is so nice, especially with the kids.

It's a good thing

But that rumor about "extra" space is mis-leading. You have "stuff" with an amazing latent capacity to expand currently crammed and compressed. Revel in the other aspects of home-ownership, 'cause it's a given you will want more space (especially closets, but also in the kitchen) just as soon as your current stuff sees how much room there is.

Gotta love low interest rates!

Congrats Gilly!

And LuckkyKnight is right.

There's a little-known scientific postulate which describes the way that your stuff (whatever amount you have) will expand at an exponential rate to fill, and then overfill, your existing space within six months of your initial occupancy of that space.
;)

Happy for you!

Happy to hear about your new home. Wishing you many, many years of happy experiences in your new place.

Take good care.

Phantom.

Congrats Gilly!

I'll be up there in a couple weeks to give you your house warming gift. :D

Congatulations

Best wishes to you all and those still to come

AWESOME!
Congratulations, Gilly! :)

I'm on my way to homeowner status myself.

I remember the day I signed with the builder to build my house like it was yesterday. It is a fond memory, even if I was deathly ill writing out that deposit check. *choke, choke*

Enjoy the new house - your family will be what makes it a home.
