I've been feeling pretty good the last few days, and I couldn't figure out why, since my usual mood is a combination of bored and apathetic.

Then it occured to me that the only thing that had changed was that I had been playing a bunch of my old video games on my computer (namely Dragon Warrior 3 and 4, Shadowrun, Star Tropics, and a couple others). Therefore, it must be true that old video games make you happy. So go find some 8 or 16-bit video games if you're feeling down.

I could always get out my old Texas Instruments 99 4/A and play "Parsec" or "Tunnels Of Doom" It was my first computer, Back in 1981.

If I could only find the old tape recorder to load Tunnels Of Doom via Casette Recorder.

Agreed, but are the old Nintendo 8-bit controllers ever hard to hold now! Almost too painful to hold.

To hell with the games.. The game controllers alone have come along way from the days of a two button pad to a 8 button hand contoured controller.

It was a huge deal to be able to buy Wico's arcade style joystick for my TI-99-4/A Back in '83!

I still have an old Nintendo with all the old games, Mario, Paperboy, Zelda... I love them! Newer games look like too much work to me

I like old video game, I like new video games. Hell I just like video games. :D

I like the fact I was able to play some of the games that never made it here.

Sweet Home, Earthbound Zero, Solid Snake : Metal Gear 2, and Dracula X : Rondo of Blood.
