Cosa dici quando hai freddo?

Any Idea what it means or how you would reply to that?

My Italian was never that great, but I think avere freddo is to be cold and having a sniffling, sneezing cold is avere il/un raffreddore. So this would be a bizarre question like what do you say when you're cold?? Brrr??

Tell me we aren't helping you with your elementary level Italian homework, because I don't know where else a question like that would come up ...

I learned most of mine from an Italian roommate, but most of what I picked up was swear words she used while cooking ...

Strange how you learn pieces of languages sometimes. Although swearing in Italian can be useful.
