PARIS, July 4 (Reuters) - French writer Tristane Banon will file a legal complaint on Tuesday over an alleged rape attempt by former IMF chief Dominique Strauss-Kahn in 2002, her lawyer told Reuters.

David Koubbi, Banon's attorney, said the complaint would relate to an incident that took place when she went to interview Strauss-Kahn in an apartment in Paris. She was 22 at the time and has already publically discussed the incident.

This had been mentioned before. The defense will say she is hopping on the band wagon they will claim others will be coming out of the wood work like all those kids in that Michael Jackson debacle.

It says she has already publicly discussed the inciden, why has nothing been done. Don't get me wrong I hope he gets his but won't hold my breath. They will say she is a publicity seeking gold digger. For the record in my perfect world this woman would be lying and he would end up going to jail for something he did not do to even up fro all that he has gotten away with.

Well first off I would never suggest sexual assault always gets punished here because that is not the case. Further up I mention a lot of celebrities in the DSK stratosphere who seemingly commit these acts but somehow every woman involved was an unreliable source. I always harp on Big Ben from the Steelers because it was twice. You know first time shame on you second time... etc.

I know most sex crimes do not get punished and I will for everyone's benefit restrain from going off on the non consent rape stories here and how all real life rape situations are funny little plot bunnies for them.

On the part that I quoted, in reality why self defense went out the window was I am a black belt in kenpo an it was that whole "registered weapon" bullshit. I also admittedly "went black" and had to be pulled off to this day I don;t remember everything I did. Point here however and not to justify my irrational actions was that had his daddy not got him off it would not have happened. Nor would the two subsequent women have been assaulted.

As a side note my sister did end up getting some justice because they brought her situation back up and they charged him with hers as well which added to the sentence. Better yet was he ended up the victim of who knows who on the other end. One of the other women he assaulted knew several correctional officers who somehow looked the other way while he was sexually assaulted. Some times life does have a way of working itself out.
