Well...for all of you poor souls that listened to me whine and waiver back and forth as to whether or not to get a tattoo, and which one to get...and where...etc etc etc.....

....here it is.

Right shoulder. The bill is placed there for size reference. It's about 4"-5" in diameter.

The picture isn't great, since it's my webcam, but I'll see if I can get a better one up later on.

Very happy...actually. Did it hurt........well, It sure didn't hurt as much as I was anticipating. Being a person who loathes needles, this was an adrenaline moment. lol

It was uncomfortable at times...but I can't say it "hurt".

As far as "more" goes...there are no more planned at this time, but who knows. I'm not against it. <shrug>

As my birthday approaches, the time is getting closer for mine. Mine will be similar in size, but I choose double shamrocks on my lower back between my dimples. I plan to get one smaller shamrock on my right shoulder later on. I must save the money.

Looks great Vilac. Make sure you don't scratch it when it starts to itch, and use lot's of inkfixx (or whatever to keep it from drying out too bad).

Actually....I've looked at designs for about three years now...and couldn't settle on one.

I was always drawn to the Celtic styles...knots specifically, and had found a couple of them that I really liked. They always seemed too "delicate", I guess...to be on me as a tat forever. <shrug>

I had found this artist in California who designs celtic tats...and this one was on her site as a computer generated one, and it just jumped out at me.

Three continual rings, intertwined. <g> The placement on my bod...(right shoulder) has some personal significance that I won't get into now...but suffice it to say that I think my patience in waiting was well worthwhile.

(Btw.....I'll publically thank lilfrk here for her help in pointing out celtic websites for me....with her help, she eventually led me to this design. Many thanks!)
