Opi, I know that I and some others I've talked with rarely receive a reply to emails. I emailed about member search not working for the past month and I received no reply and it still doesn't work. Also, I don't think Laurel frequents this board. You should post on the general board. She's there often. Though, I think it's best to PM her. I've had more success with that method.
By the way, my vote total goes up and down often.

what happens to knock a poem off the boards, if such
a thing can happen by someone or ones casting repeated “1”
votes. I see no mention of this being factual, mythical or
otherwise being addressed.

When people talk about a poem or story being knocked off the 'boards', they are speaking loosely, I believe. I have never heard of a poem or story being removed from the site because it got bad votes. What does happen, is that the poem or story will be knocked off of the top lists by low votes.

As to the rest, well, that has been addressed ad nauseum and if you've found as many references to it as you say, you've already found as much of an answer as you're likely to get.
