i was merely suggesting a less than typical food combination... suddenly, something went wrong...

I like my peanut butter and fluff on toast; the heat of the toast melts both and they ooze together....but I like peanut butter and chocolate too.

Hmmm, maybe I need to set up a taste test....
Scaly, I knew from the beginning we were kindred spirits. I love fluffernutters a lot... Yank and I have talked before on the subject. He does not, however, understand that toast gives it that je ne sais quoi. I feel more comforted now that there is a true believer here with me.

I do like the idea of adding the chocolate... a sort of smore... chocolate never gets in the way.

Although I have converted a few people to the toast fluffernutter, I've never met anyone who has tried it before my suggestion to try it, until now.

And if Yank hasn't tried one, he should.
He will. Yank is nothing if not adventurous about food. :D

:D Thanks!

And do you think anyone will take it seriously and actually obey me? Not on your life. Some people command obedience--I'm on of those who tries to, but usually ends up looking foolish. ;)

 Damn, that man is a female orgasm waiting to happen...Wonder if he likes older women...And his hands...God, they're gorgeous.

Okay, best we stop thinking about that right now...

A toasted fluffernutter is a wonderful thing. :D

Kudos to Scaly for suggesting this ineluctably delectable delight.

I'm sorry, Cate. I suspect it's the aging memory thing, actually.

No harm Yank... I suspect that aging thing really is tough to deal with. ;)

I'll post in the WPMO thread when I have to start gumming my fluffernutters. For now, I can deal with the occasional dropped recollection. :D

Hmmm, gumming fluffernutters... maybe you've missed the enjoyment window on toasted fluffernutters. At least you can say you tried it. ;)

I'm sure that I'll be enjoying the toasted ones for a long time yet. Next up: trying my soon-to-be-patented chocolate fluffernutter in the toasted form.

I will have to taste that vicariously... or when my blood sugar level is bottoming out. Yeah, that's it, I'll keep one in my emergency kit.

Cate, Cate, Cate... tsk tsk... You should be kinder to those of us who are staring the AARP in the face. A little respect for the seniors, please. ;)

Y'know I've been giving that chocolate fluffernutter some thought. I bet it tastes a lot like one of my favorite candy bars, the almighty Goo Goo Cluster. I cannot believe I am contemplating buying a jar of that marshmallow goo.

that does it. i'm going to go eat a jar of peanut butter right now! and don't even TRY to stop me!
