It'sd been cloudy and it's tried to rain.
What we have here now is a magic soft light; perfect for my dark red Rose to get her picture taken.

BEST THREAD BY AN AUTHOR-

And the winner is...

Not the user that posts three threads a day and attacks other authors.

What!?

How can that be?

Because normal people add either entertainment, or knowledge to a thread. Sometimes if they're really clever - they add both. In accounting terms their contribution is an asset to all who read the thread. Small things amuse small minds and people who start three threads everyday just to insult other people suffer from a huge amount of inadequacy and hate. I do hope somebody took the trash out.

Just as applicable to our UK Politics at present

I've got a new Tracker-ball [pointing device].
The Instructions are non-existent but it seems like the ball is pressure sensitive.
It's a 'Logitec'
Anyone familiar with these gadgets ?

A bit, we have a couple where we work. I don't believe that they are supposed to be pressure sensitive but if the ball doesn't get enough pressure it might not move as quickly as it will with more pressure since it is being held in place by the mouse. Do you see what I mean? It might also be because it is new?

I use Logitec and they are fairly good products.

Is this a track ball with the ball on top? If so a light pressure works best.

If it is a regular mouse with the ball on bottom, make sure you have a new clean mouse pad.

Perhaps I should have said "rate-of-change sensitive".

Oh it's a tracker ball, all right. The ball is under my right thumb. I ain't used to this sort.
Oh well, Practice it is. . . .

Imagine my surprise when I won Best Illustrated Poetry.

Well done, Madam. :rose::rose:

So I have discovered that after roller skating (and falling) at age 46, you still feel it a couple of days later... (I'm fine, just sore.)
