I shaved my head today after a year of not cutting my hair at all, it feels goood. I did it because we unexpectedly euthanised my dog last Wednesday and I figured some kind of change might help me feel something other than utter wretchedness.

Yesterday my father and I went to Mount Airy casino to play a poker tournament (I gambled, I shouldn't have done that :( ). My father got knocked out doing something stupid. I lasted another hour or so playing smarter, and then got unlucky in thee hands against the same person. I had him all in twice and he got lucky. Then I was forced all in and he got lucky again. I was ahead each and every hand until the river car when he hit his 15% out...

And then my father and I went to get something to eat at a Longhorn in East Stroudsburg PA. The waitress immediately recognized my As Blood Runs Black t-shirt under my jacket. I really should have asked her out, but stupid me I didn't know how to make a move in front of my father and in the mental state I was in after losing like that. I didn't even get her name...

I bought a pair of Crocs and upon donning them, realized I really need to trim my toenails.

Gotcha!
Went fishing for a hour or so the other afternoon and, rather to my amazement, actually caught a decent-sized Bream.

Just got my new crochet hooks today, along with a new copy of "Good Omens." I have to stop giving that to people. Hoping my new yarn bag comes tomorrow.

Hmm, a $1000 budget for this Vegas trip, should be doable.

Does this include flight, hotel and gambling? You might be able to find a decent room downtown for cheap, and take the bus to the strip and back.

Hmmm seems the varmint problem may be beginning earlier this year than last. Had a coon bust up the largest live trap last night...got a good photo, might go 20+ lbs

I have never had to pee so bad in my life yet I must hold it for another few minutes. This is why people wear adult diapers isn't it.

My lower mileage (184,000 miles) Volvo Estate passed its MOT (annual roadworthiness test) today with no repairs necessary and not even a single advisory notice.

I hope the higher mileage (280,000 miles) one does as well in ten days time.
