And I'm reminded of a friend who's got a) a special type of oven that's excellent for baking pizza, the bread gets that light crunch to it, and b) a husband who's a trained chef.
When they make pizza, they make 10 at a time. When the kids, themselves, and their guests have pizza coming out of their ears, that's when they stop - and complain that there's still pizza dough left to bake.
*happy sigh*
I just remember that I haven't visited them for a while...

I had to drive 40 minutes out to a job site to drop off some signed and sealed drawings. I got all the way out there and was walking up the (really long) driveway when I realized that I forgot the "sealed" part...
So I had to drive 40 minutes back to the office (with a stop for lunch and another to fuel up my car), and then drive 40 minutes back out to the job site to drop the plans off for real...
I hate days like that

I wish I had an oven like that, it sounds like heaven. And a guy to make me pizza wouldn't be bad either.
Mind you, I usually do make my own pizza, complete with tomato sauce and everything. And yest, I do ten at a time too, because it just isn't worth kneading the dough otherwise. They keep pretty well in the freezer, if not enough people are around to eat them in the first place.

Do you have a pizza stone? I got one from Pampered Chef years ago, and it just broke last year. I need to get another one. They are the best thing to bake pizzas on.

Those are the best things ever invented! I've got a couple of them and they make the best pizza crusts in the world.
Did you ever get one of their little plastic scrapers? The ones with the different shaped corners for cleaning stuck stuff from inside of pans when you wash them? Those are way cool too!

Yes! I use it to scrape other stuff too, like if melted cheese is stuck all over a pan or whatever. I still have the scraper, even though my stone broke.

A lot of people seemed to poopoo Stargate Atlantis when it first aired, but I find it to be more enjoyable than the original show. I loved the last episode that I just saw tonight

My daughter sold Pampered Chef several years ago. They have good stuff.
I used her things for a long time but when I moved out she didn't let me take it with me.

I used to get suckered in to going to their parties back when I had a real job and actually had money. They were kind of fun though, and they gave away lots of little freebies and recipes.

Yes, they did. I have -- make that I had -- tons of those little goodies. Somehow I didn't get them either.

what a hell of a day for the hubby to be gone...I'm having a mental breakdown and kidlet isn't well from her shots. No way on earth would i have asked him to stay home though. He started his skydiving training today to jump on his own.
Maybe I'll get kidlet dressed and myself and go out to the library and maybe for a meal or at least a treat. At this point I'll just deal with the heartburn consequences from breaking from the bland diet. Having a girls morning out seems much better idea. Now just have to face going out in the sun, sometimes i swear in the mornings I'm a vampire.
