I guess some of the grass really is greener. Maybe giving it the same amount of water would help. The wine is nice, but no matter how much wine it gets, the grass will always need water to grow.

There are a lot of new hilarious threads since I last visited. Great to stop in to some laughs.

That works :D Great new AV. I see you have been publishing. Congratulations.

Doing alright. Hot down here! Nice to meet you cuzzin' :)

How's things in your neck of the woods?

Jus' had us a earthquake but nutthin' serious. Got some nice weather for a bit. Dunno how long it's liable to last, though. Fish bitin'?

I saw that about the earthquake. I'm glad it was not more severe.
Don't know about the fish. I have not been fishing since the mid- 90's

Let's all go visit Rob, It has to be cooler there. :)
Thank you for the welcome. I have not stopped in for quite a while I guess.
Lots of new faces, a few of the old ones, seems a bit different than it was.

Now they are saying they want to do a biopsy and then see if radiation will help it, apparently another doctor looked at the CT scan and now says there's a little more lower on her breast bone instead of just the tumor where her collar bones meet...

It's just hard to sit here and not be able to do anything. She lives about two and a half hours away so it's hard to visit her. She's only got the full coverage health insurance for two and a half more months now, after that if they don't take care of it she's pretty much screwed. I'm just scared as hell for her right now, I love my mom dearly and am so scared that I might lose her...

Unrelated: I know this may sound cruel but watching little moan groan and strain is kind of funny...

I wish more of my friends lived in Canada. It breaks my heart to hear that they or people they love could get sick or worse because their medical insurance isn't sufficient to cover their problems.

She's already had cancer once, when she was only about 30. Her body is fragile enough as it is, not sure what radiation therapy will do to her. I just want them to take care of it, make her healthy again...

unrelated to Mrs. DL:

There is a fine line between legitimately warning people about things and doing private character assassination.

We should all be as careful to watch our own motives in private as in public.
