The learning curve for the new version of office is huge!

Open Office editing stuff aside (I need to use a format compatible with everything my authors use...)

despite the large learning curve, which definitely exists, editing is far easier in the new word IMHO

M$ Office is not worth the money and never has been :(
The new file format is a joke and a bad one at that :(
Every word processor you have used is a derived clone of Wordperfect5.1 for DOS, and every spreadsheet came from Lotus 123 2.? for DOS. :D

Christ! Enough!

I don't want to know anymore. I rarely get any. The chances of me being in a relationship are about the same as the Shrubbies admitting they made a mistake in Iraq.

I don't want to hear about people who have so little trouble getting into a relationship they wonder why they shouldn't add more people to it. Or people who have more trouble filling their car than getting some on the weekend.

It's like bragging in front of a starving man about the wonderful meals you have at the best restaurants.

Enough!

That sounds so familiar. And then they tell you how to do it, but their advice just doesn't make any kind of sense to you because you aren't that kind of person who would do the kind of things that they are talking about.

Don't you mean, your well-roundedness?

Regardless, I can't wait to eat. It smells so good. In fact, it smells so good all through the house, I bet my dreams are Italian tonight.
i so badly want to speak italian now.

oh well. you'll just have to deal with vellaese:eek:

Careful you don't splash pasta sauce anywhere sensitive.

Unless you want to. ;)

Hi vella, lucky.

Now there's an idea. I think I'll pass, though, as I'm watch it bubble and steam from here. Perhaps a tad hotter than I'd care for.

Good to see you, buddy.

Same here, lucky.

I gather life is going good? :)

It is good. I'm beginning to realize this constant state of flux is our normal. All in all, though, being out of school and working full time is really much better than prior arrangements. I get to see my girls more and the quality of the time now is head and shoulders above what it once was. So, yes, life is going good.

How about you? Are you frozen yet?

Can we use candle wax instead?;)

I once wrote a story that involved creative use of pizza fixings.

It's not so bad here. -3C (27F) Yesterday was rough. We got about 30 cm (1 foot) of snow, with high winds and lightning. Kept warm by shoveling.

I literally want to slam my head against a wall repeatedly right now.

Bah.
