Uh, what happened to China Doll? Did she drown in the duck pond?
Sadly, she ran off some cute little goth chick, the little slut.
Anyway, China-Doll wasn't much of a pen name.

Had me too.CrimsonMaiden said:Well, you sure as hell fooled me. I didn't even begin to think it was one of the guys.
Can I cuff you to your desk and make you write more stories for me?

Only if I can return the favor with the cuffs![]()

Wow! Impressive lightning display going on. High winds, too.

2 am and she calls me cause I'm still awake . . .
Fuck, imagine if my phone rang now . . .
I need sleep. I'm nearing delusional.

My AV wants to be on top of your AV right now. I'll loose the pillow.

Why would Microsoft get rid of the autotext/autocomplete function in Word?
I NEED THAT!!!

The new laptop, rumming ME2, I mean Vista?![]()
Ah, the improved version![]()
We have 2 laptops - the old clunker I'm using runs ME. Hubby's new-beaut one uses Vista. It sure looks pretty. But I think I hate it almost as much as ME.
My desktop uses XP-Pro.
Yeah, but this is the new desk top. We got both. I'm so frustrated. In addition to getting used to a new keyboard and the new version of Word, I have to deal with this.
I installed Word 97 thinking I could just use that for work, but the spellcheck and grammar check functions are missing. Something screwy with Vista, apparently.

The learning curve for the new version of office is huge! That and the format change for documents is why most businesses are not switching.
Best bet? See a good tech and find out if all the hardware drivers are available to put XP on that machine, buy a copy or 2 of XP and trash Vista. You could try Open Office which is a free office suite and all I use now. Go to openoffice.org and see if there is a Vista version available yet. It's free, try it and see waht you think.
