Isolated Blurt Thread

I'm relieved as hell.

It's all good.

Thanks for all the ones who offered their support after my last, panicked blurt. I really appreciate it. I haven't been able to be on a lot over the past few days, it's been really stressful, and I'm sorry if I didn't get back to all of you to say how much that means to me.

Thank you all :rose:

Glad to hear all is well again :rose:

Fuck fucking fuckers. I told them not to withdraw that money because I don't have it until the 30th.

Can I get a re-do on the last two days?:(

We have the craziest fucking weather...

The high today is only supposed to be 35 F today, yet on Saturday, they're saying it'll hit somewhere between 65 and 70 F.

No wonder everyone's getting sick.

I'm having a rare day when I feel sexy.

And also horny.

And, strangely, also reflective. *sigh* Too bad I'm single.

Hmmm. Washington, D. C. itself can be pricey, but there's a lot in driving distance and staggering quantities of things to see in the capital. Also, if memory serves there are two airports near it, and if you land and stay near the further-out one you can do it cheaper and still get into the city in reasonable time. In counterbalance to the prices of getting and staying there, there's also a great deal to do that's free. I always stop at Arlington National Cemetary, myself. It may sound like an odd place to go, but it's beautiful and crammed with history. There's a large zoo there as well, and any number of memorials and historical buildings and monuments and museums. Lovely sculpture gardens, too.

Hm, a friend of mine was just mentioning today that she thought I'd like DC. I'll definitely put it on my list of possibilities to research.

How about Chicago the last weekend of March?

:rose:

I have been considering it since the rooms at the hotel you picked are pretty affordable, but so far, the flights are all around $350 lately, so I'm still thinking.

Hot or cold? Boyne ski-weekend (or midweek special?)
Someplace on the gulf coast?
Hot or cold doesn't matter. It's not all that cold here on most days anyway. No skiing thought, putting on skis is a death knoll for me. If I got in February, it's be a long weekend. If I go early April, it can be any day within that first week.

Hope everything comes out alright, Zeb...

Ya know, I so rarely put anyone on ignore, but enough is too much. The function is there for a reason, right? (Not you, Zeb... Yet *wink*)

Thanks, it did, she didn't like the blood draw, but she liked the chocolate ice cream with the activated charcoal mixed in. She's ok.

Hmmm, for the cherry blossoms you'd have to put it off for a bit, but you might try Alexandria. It's not far from DC and Old Town is a wonderful place. There used to be a very reasonable restaurant that looked out on the river. Gorgeous. I love history so it was just the thing to me.
