I just slipped on the ice and busted my knuckles open. Blood and random pieces of skin everywhere. Bleargh.
Why is it always that part of my body that gets injured? I'm going to have more scars there, aren't I?
Ah, well, I suppose it is better than some actual serious injury. I still don't like it though.

If you haven't done DC it definitely should be on your list. Weather should be fine that time of year. Lots of stuff on the mall, Arlington, Lincoln memorial at night is very moving, etc. Awesome Turner exhibit at Nat'l Gallery right now, plus a real cool Hopper one, and their Impressionists collection may not be as extensive as the Art Institute's, but the quality is superb. I fell in love with a girl there last year.

I actually had a pretty good day until this happened. Teaching went well and my friend had her baby, so we visited her in the hospital and got to hold a cute little shrivelled up sleepy boy. But now it hurts to move my hand, which sucks because I have to get my grading finished.
