Thanksgiving with parents and sister and her hubby and kids.
We survived.
It was even positive.
Part of it has to do with sis being too busy with her two little ones in diapers to bitch about me and mine.

I hereby rename the holiday that takes place the third Thursday in November, as;
"Kitchen Thursday"
The young woman of the house kept me focussed and IN that kitchen pretty much all day-- we even made an apple pie!
damn good dinner, with just the closest of the family to eat it. Usually we have at least three strays but-- not this year, dunno why!
Darling daughter has invited everyone she knows for a leftovers feast, tomorrow. She tells me we must make a pear tart. Since when am I a pastry chef?
And on another note-- I am so sick of my new habit of poking arseholes with sticks, and I don't wanna do it anymore. I've got nicer arses to pay attention to-- with much better things than sticks. Right?
