I've never made cookies before and i thought the 'dough' was too thick, then i thought that it had all gone to shit when they didnt cook in the time they were sposed to, then i nearly cried when they all expanded into each other...

but, when they were just the right colour, i took them out of the oven to stand for a minute, then used our new snowflake cutter to cut some up, and put them on a wire rack to cool.

They taste lovely

so i used the rest of the mix and made two huge ones which i will take to uni and share with friends tomorrow!

ooooh, im gonna become EL with all this baking goodness! :grin:

I had a year of losing. . . different loses yes, love, friendship, and a big part of myself. . . It is that last part that I didn't mind losing. Today I started down a new path and am still currently on it, but I celebrated today with my first donut in over a year. It was my reward. I savored every bite, enjoyed the sweet, spongy yumminess and then for lunch I had 1/2 a big mac from McDonalds.

That's the extent of my celebration today. And yep. . .it was legal celebrating because as of today.... I can eat BREAD again!!!!
