Ooh - I just went shopping. A leaf-green cable-knit tank top, a mid-thigh length charcoal Mohair sweater with a big fold-over neckline and big buttons, 2 pairs of black leggings (for running, boring) a pair of aubergine leggings for wearing under charcoal sweater and also under my stretchy green and purple dress (sounds horrid, but looks pretty) and a really cool cappucino-coloured corduroy trilby hat.
All for under 30 quid. I *love* bargain shopping.
Just need a winter coat and a new pair of trousers. The coat is gonna hurt a bit more than the shopping I just did though...

okay... so, they basically are saying "We'll take a chance on you. We recognize that you are more interested in security and in being on a team than you are in being an independent agent. But you have other qualities that we like, so we are willing to risk 6-8 months of paying you on the chance that you can get past the roadblocks. If you fail, we'll write it off and move on."
and I'm saying, "I know they're making a bad decision. That's not where I'm going long term and I know it. I will fail because my heart is not in sales. But... they're offering me a way to defer the decision and survive for 6-8 months."
Can it actually be a positive to turn down a good job with a good firm? Or do I accept it, knowing I'll be sorry later but wanting the temporary relief from being unemployed?
