One day a teacher had a taste test with her students. She picked a little boy to do the first test. She blindfolded him, put a Hershey kiss in his mouth and asked, "Do you know what it is?"

"No, I don't," said the little boy.

"OK, I'll give you a clue. It's the thing your daddy wants from your Mom before he goes to work."

Suddenly, a little girl at the back of the room yelled, "Spit it out!
It's a piece of ass!"

:D

If you guys had any idea what your kids report to their teachers, you probably wouldn't be nearly as composed as you are.

To some extent I miss parents' evening. It was always very interesting putting faces to names

If that someone can't leave your mind even for an hour then you tell me what it is ?

Never far from my thoughts and never long before you appear in them.

Can we fast forward through September, please? And while we're at it, let's skip the whole of winter. I can handle a few snow days, but only a few. And then let it be April again.

And let me feel sunshine - everywhere. I don't want the cold, and I don't want the rain and I don't want darkness.

Find a little light in life everyday sweet, some warmth while your at it. I bet you'll find all that you need to survive a bitter unforgiving winter if you just look inside. :rose: If you need any help or gentle nudges, remember i have roses for you

I'll give you all the sunshine in my years. I want cold, gloomy weather.

Good. I don't even need you to sign a contract, I'll just gather all the sunshine together and Fed-Ex it to you.

I can get that from South Africa, too. Well, technically it won't be an Indian summer, but it would be during our winter solstice in the Uk. Does that make sense?

today I had my 12 week appointment, it would be fine if it was morning sickness. Maybe it is in a different way. It comes and goes every couple of days, it doesn't just last for a little while it lasts for hours. Threatening to dehydrate me. I went to the store and got some pedialite, that seems to be helping. Before that I did watered down gatorade to rehydrate me, while it is cheaper the pedialite is designed for nausea so I figured I'd give it a try this time and we'll see how it goes.

Some people do have sporadic morning sickness. Mine lasted for 14 weeks. Normally it stops at the end of the first trimester (I'm sure you know), when you're just about done needing those pregnancy hormones from that temporary cyst on your ovary because you're done with the basic building of the placenta.

I don't want to scare you, but I've talked to women who had morning sickness all the way up through the second trimester. - Needed IV fluids and the works. Definitely keep yourself hydrated! My OB had a nurse on call for all sorts of questions and concerns that us crazy pregnant ladies had. I'm proud to say that I only called them twice. *giggle*

I hope you feel better soon! :rose:

I'm not sure what it's called, but if they lose the sunshine package, they'll have to ship you over here or me over there. I think shipping me over there would work better. Your daughter and I would be running around the house long and fast enough to produce heat for all winter. Kids from age 4 to 10 just love playing with me.

I ate too much pasta, and I walked for more than 12 hours each day - I can't get enough of Rome. It's Incredible on so many levels. And I need to go back soon.

I have no words to describe the experience.

This made me think of -

I ain't happy, I'm feeling glad
I got sunshine in a bag
I'm useless but not for long
The future is coming on, is coming on, is coming on
