I want to sit at someone's feet and listen to them sing or read or just talk on the phone. I want to rest my head in someone's lap and have them run their fingers through my hair and trace around my ear. I want to relax in the hammock all tangled and entwined. Then I want to do the same for them and come together at the end of it all in a sweaty heap in bed.

Very good sex.

A really energetic game of tag / ball with the dog, or a specially long walk.

Dancing to very loud, fast music.

Singing opera in a ridiculously silly and melodramatic fashion.

Building, painting, fixing, or installing something useful or beautiful in the home.

A long day of yard work with a clear objective in mind.

Bringing some little gift of food or a book or some time to someone who can't get out much.

Dropping off a completely unexplained and unexpected gift for a friend.

Taking out $10 in ones, going to the children's section of the local library, and slipping one bill each into the pages of ten random books.

Making something ridiculously complex for dinner.

Learning to do a handstand.

There's a major problem with my resumé. The last entry on my work history reads, 'Late 1980's until today: Struggling with the effects and problems of severe mental illness.'

At that point pretty much every person reading it will toss my resumé in the garbage and go wash their hands. Just to make sure my mentally ill cooties don't infect them.

to the end of that last sentence. You might be surprised at how many interviews you get. If for no other reason than they want to see you.
