Isolated Blurt Thread

My new flatscreen monitor at work looks a little out of focus. It makes everything else look blurry for a moment after looking away. I don't know how to fix this.

My keyboard sounds quieter this morning too. I dropped it on the floor when replacing the monitor. I wonder if that made a difference, or am I just hearing it differently because there isn't a big CRT screen right in front of me anymore?

There are so many people beautiful here that have gone through and are going through some of the most heart-wrenching, demanding, powerful, painful ordeals and yet they all not only persevere, but maintain their creativity, compassion, dignity and imagination. It amazes me and astounds me that they have the kind of strength of spirirt that they display to not only carry on, but to contribute to the greater good. I'm truly humbled and awed on a daily basis.

And then, you see someone that has no imagination, no hardships other than what they bring upon themselves and they just whine. They take up space. They have nothing to offer because they are too hung up on themselves. They are selfish and unseeing and I am just at a loss for words. Or rather, I struggle not to say anything because if I do, I know that it will just sound cruel and inhumane. So I will say nothing...

...and to this person that doesn't know who he is...I have nothing to say to you.
I hope you are at least grateful for that

Hmm, I don't remember purchasing an invisibility cloak whilst I was away...

*smack* Cut that whiney shit out. You're not invisible & you know it. Your heart alone shines brighter than the sun.

 I'm glad you're back.

I just found out that my favorite teacher from high school died on the 26 of May (age of 64). He was my favorite teacher even before I had him, he was just one of those types of guys. Whenever he would direct the high school students fall play production and it was Shakespear he would go around to all the schools and talk to the kids about it and explain the play so that when they saw it they would understand. It was a k-12 private school. I took an elective my senior year just so that I could have him as an teacher, the class being Shakespear for half the year and speach for the other half. Before him I had no interest in Shakespear, but he got me into it. He was one of the two teachers that I made sure to introduce my husband to when we went down to Hershey four years after I graduated for our honeymoon and I just found a picture of me and him from then. He was an incredible man and will be missed by all.

He had elementary school students understanding Shakespear, that just goes to show how much passion this man had for what he did to find a way to do that when most adults can't even understand it...

I could watch my baby sister discover the world, all day.

Currently she's examining her shadow cast on my bedroom wall and moving and watching how her shadow reflects what she does. When i point to her tummy and she sees it in the shadow she gasps.

Oh, she's just wiggled her self behind me on my desk chair, her arms around my tummy, her feet out to the sides. :D
