*yawns* Ok I am running away....need a hot drink and an early night. Kid is manic with energy lately. If I could just harness it.

This weather has GOT to stop soon.

The temperature just keeps rising and falling dramatically. A 12 degree celsius drop from Sat to Sunday? WTF is going on?

Is this sleeveless weather or is this blouse weather? Shorts or jeans? Please! Make up your mind, whoever is controlling all these changes.

I'm right here. Just put out your hand, and your fingertips will be gliding over my skin. ;)
Mmmm, so that smooth surface I've been feeling is your skin?

Now I understand that parent, a few years ago, who paid a kid to beat up another kid who had been bullying and abusing his kid. Yeah, now I do!

Yeah, well me too. He's been bullied since he was in first grade and today one of those kids opened his hand by pushing it back and forth into some kind of opening in a metal cart. Tomorrow will be doctor's visit day and I could just kick the little shit's ass. :(

ETA: I'm so pissed off I can't even write hand properly.

I'd let the little shit's parents know. Perhaps the police as well.

Parent won't do anything....he swears (the little shit) that it was an accident - yeah right  - the school didn't even punish him.

That's another thing I'm way too familiar with.

Ask the principal if the little shit gets involved in a lot of 'accidents'. And make it clear to the principal you'll be keeping track.

Bring the school board into it as well. The principal will just love extra attention.

best advice I can give you: tae kwon do lessons.

My oldest son went through a really hard time with some bullies. He's always been tall, but very slender, and he's such a passive person, I had to just beg him to stand up for himself.

After he'd gotten his first degree certified blackbelt (he was 12), there was this kid in school that kept picking on him. The kid hit him one day, and got suspended for only one day, and I used that day to give my son a good talking to. He knew how to defend himself, and while I would never want him to start anything, I certainly don't want him to just stand there and take it.

The day the bully came back to school, he picked up right where he left off, only Trey had been talked to by me, by his dad, and by his sensai.

He told the kid that he had a blackbelt, and to leave him alone (just like we'd told him to) - several times. Apparently, the dumbass didnt believe him, because he kept on and kept on, pushing and poking.

He finally took a swing at Trey again, and when he did, Trey let loose with one of those roundhouse kicks, and followed it up with some rabbit kicks. I didn't see it, but I wish I had - I only had the teacher's description of what happened to go on. My little bitty skinny son (he's over six feet now, but this was a long time ago) had knocked that kid backwards about 6 or 8 feet, and knocked one of his teeth out of his mouth.

The principal was pissed off at his dad and I for telling him to fight back, and it got loud in her office for a bit. Trey ended up suspended for three days, but I was so damn proud of him that day.

He's never had a problem since then. All it takes is once.
